Bonitots Arkle Finance Case Study

Finance Need: Bonitots, an established home-based childcare centre, were set to expand into a 56-place nursery and kids party venue where little ones can let their imagination run wild whilst experiencing real life situations in their very own miniature city. To support this growth, they needed funding for the play equipment and sensory stimulating toys.

The Situation: The nursery recognizes the importance of early years second language immersion and therefore speak exclusively in Spanish to the children who are consequently all bilingual. There are no other Spanish immersion nurseries in South East London which sets them apart. Together with offering, in amongst other unique features, locally sourced organic home cooked meals and piano lessons for all children, the business plan was a recipe for success. There is great demand for a place at this facility with their innovative approach combining elements from worldwide leading educational systems.

What Arkle Did: Arkle worked with the broker to understand what the customer needed to enable them to grow their business. The broker supplied an in-depth information pack together with detailed specification of the equipment required. Arkle felt very comfortable with the proposal as a result of the unique offering of the education facility coupled with the many years of experience shared between the Director and longstanding team. All of the above parameters were underpinned by a positive set of accounts and a realistic financial forecast.

The Finance Solution: The agreement was secured against a Director’s Guarantee supported by strong financial reports in respect of both the business and Director’s personal financial status. The rationale of the project was underpinned by invoices from a reputable national supplier.
