With the boating season soon getting into full swing, there are some great boat shows coming up that will be displaying a huge range of boats for customers to see. There is the Crick Boat Show for the inland waterway or the British Motor Yacht Show with impressive and larger motor yachts; Seawork for the commercial vessel industry, and the Southampton International Boat Show, which is the biggest UK show and caters for all tastes. Crick Boat Show Inland Waterways Festival - crickboatshow.com
3rd – 5th June, Crick Marina, Northamptonshire
This show has increasingly become seen as the UK’s main inland waterways festival. There’s plenty to keep the kids entertained with a show village with food and craft stalls. As it’s an inland show, most of the boats on display are canal boats and river cruisers. Arkle Finance can provide funding for many of these types of boats, though we are not able to consider funding for liveaboards.

15th – 19th June, Swanwick, Southampton
This show displays some of the most prestigious and large motor yacht brands including the likes of Sunseeker, Princess, Fairline, Sealine, Bavaria, Greenline Yachts, Beneteau, Jeanneau and Azimut Yachts to name a few. It’s an impressive line-up of generally larger motor yachts and a great opportunity for serious buyers to get onboard an excellent range of motor yachts and speak with the yacht brokers to get solid information to help their buying decisions. Arkle has funded many of the types of boats on display, though the multi-million-pound boats do move outside of our lending criteria.
Seawork Commercial Marine & Workboat Exhibition - seawork.com
21st – 23rd June, Mayflower Park, Southampton
Now in its 23rd year, Seawork is the commercial marine exhibition in the UK. It’s all about commercial marine, workboat vessels and supporting services, with approximately 70 vessels on display and impressive exhibition halls for just about every service to support the commercial marine industry. Arkle has been busy funding a wide range of commercial vessels and we mostly fund coastal workboats and harbour vessels.
Southampton International Boat Show - southamptonboatshow.com
16th – 25th September, Mayflower Park, Southampton
This is the 53rd edition of the biggest UK boat show, with Europe's largest purpose-built marina. There will be hundreds of boats on display from kayaks, SUPs and dinghies through a wide range of motorboats and sailing yachts and all the way up to the amazing superyachts. The show also has halls full of marine products, a waterpark for sea trials and watersports, halls full of clothing and holiday destination stands, as well as lots of bars and restaurants. For those keen to view the full range of boats in a particular class and price range, around the same time as this show there is also Cannes Yachting Festival from 6th-11th September and the Monaco Yacht Show from 28th-1st October. We’ll certainly be attending the Southampton show and we very much look forward to meeting you there.
